I discovered my wedding photographer had spied on me naked – he used sinister trick to secretly film me changing

WHEN former model Michelle Pharo looks back at her wedding photos, the fond memories of her special day are tarnished.
Photographer David Glover, whom she once considered a friend, documented their marriage, but unbeknownst to Michelle, years earlier he had secretly filmed her undressing.
Sick Glover, 48, hid a camera in an alarm clock in his studio’s dressing room and filmed 39-year-old Michelle for 40 minutes as she changed during one of their shoots together.
The perv then agreed to photograph Michelle’s wedding and charged her the full price of £1,500.
In March of this year, Glover was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to five counts of voyeurism against 35 women.
Now Michelle, who bravely renounced her right to anonymity, is speaking out to encourage other potential victims to come forward.
The Essex events manager says: “David was my friend and I trusted him.
“The fact that he agreed to film my wedding knowing he had nude footage of me is disgusting.
“I want other survivors to come forward if they think they could be one of David’s victims.”
Michelle became friends with Glover when she started modeling at the age of 20.
He photographed her in lingerie, swimwear and evening dresses for her model portfolio.
Michelle explains, “David always made me feel good and told me I looked good.
“I’ve always loved the photos he took of me.”
Thanks to Glover’s pictures, Michelle managed to work as a model for women’s fashion catalogs and car magazines, and they kept in touch outside of work.
In 2015, Michelle’s partner Richard, 40, a marketing manager and DJ, took part in a shoot to see her in action.
Michelle says: “I modeled different bikinis that day.
“I used the dressing room to change, it was tiny and crammed.
“As always, David was really nice.”
wedding joy
The following year, in 2016, Michelle and Richard got engaged and she wanted Glover to be her wedding photographer.
She says: “Richard’s friend offered to shoot our wedding for free, but I insisted on having David there.
“When I asked him he jumped at the opportunity and we agreed to pay him £1,500.”
In May 2018, Michelle and Richard got married.
She recalls: “David was there all day and said how beautiful I look.
“He emailed us the photos when we were honeymooning in Barbados. They were magical.
“We sent them to all our family and friends and had them framed in our home.”
But in March 2019, one of Michelle’s model friends posted about Glover on Facebook, claiming he had hidden cameras in his dressing rooms.
She explains: “I texted her and she told me that she had found a camera in the dressing room of a studio where she was filming with David.
“Looking back at the footage, she saw David set up the camera. I was disgusted and told her to go to the police.
“I told myself there was no way he would have done that to me because David and I were friends.”
Hidden Camera
Two years later, in 2021, Michelle saw a news article about Glover’s arrest for voyeurism.
The police had found 900 videos of more than 100 women changing clothes.
He had secretly filmed her by hiding a camera in an alarm clock in his studio’s dressing rooms.
Michelle recalls: “I immediately contacted the police, concerned that he had also filmed me.
“An officer asked me to submit a photo of myself along with the dates of when I took the picture with David.”
That same day, the officer emailed a picture of Michelle naked in a dressing room, which she had to confirm.
He then called her and said that Glover recorded a 40-minute video of Michelle getting changed at the shoot she was part of in 2015.
Michelle says: “I felt sick when I saw it.
“It was the shoot my husband came to too. I told him and he was devastated.”
The following week, Michelle gave her statement to the police. Disgustingly, Glover maintained his innocence.
Over a year later, in December 2022, Glover pleaded guilty to five counts of voyeurism on the first day of trial.
In March this year he was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison by Cambridge Crown Court.
In addition, he was ordered to be put on the sex offender register for ten years.
Michelle says: “I have prepared a statement to be read on my behalf.
“David didn’t even look at me, just kept his eyes down.”
Michelle hasn’t modeled since discovering the film and has no plans to do so again.
Michelle explains: “Now I can’t even go to the toilet in public without looking for cameras.
“David made me question everything.

“And whenever I look at my wedding photos, the fond memories of what he did are tarnished.
“If you think you might be one of David’s victims, please come forward. This pervert needs to learn his lesson.”
