Reddit user Erinruthking shared the anonymous post on the social media platform.

“Thoughts on the Wrenley name? My husband really wants to name our second daughter that,” the post reads.

Another user replied to the mum’s post, saying: “We are planning on using Wrenyn for our next girl. I love it.”

“Isn’t renin like an enzyme or something,” commented one.

“Yes,” replied another. “It’s one of the enzymes that triggers other enzymes that squeeze blood vessels and cause other enzymes to help the kidneys retain more water.

“The net result is an increase in your blood pressure. I think it would be good if Wrenyn became a doctor or a nurse,” the Redditor said.

“Perhaps the next child will be Ayldostyrone,” said another.

Other Redditors shared their own pun on the unusual name.

“Wrenyn Stimpy,” wrote one.

“And the bass keeps Wrenyn Wrenyn and Wrenyn Wrenyn,” added another.

“Poor girl keeps getting misinterpreted as Brennan,” commented another.

“I always assumed this was another Game of Thrones name like Khaleesi,” said another.

The post came as part of an ongoing trend on Reddit with users uploading the weirdest baby names they can find.
