Stella Cini (@stellamariacini) filmed himself trying the experiment in a videotapes on TikTok.

“I’m bored so this is what I’m thinking. What if I dye my hair pink?

“Not with hair dye but with beets? Let’s find out,” she said.

She put some boiled radishes in a blender and extracted the red liquid from the more fibrous parts of the mixture.

“Radish pigment is extracted,” she said. It will be a very liquid mixture.”

She continued to experiment by applying this vegetable to her hair like traditional hair dye.

“I would let it run for hours because that’s what it said online.

“Then I’ll come back and show you the results and see if you can dye your hair with beets.

She said: “Are we ready to see the magical effects of beets? Because I’m ready.”

Stella revealed that a dye made from beetroot gave her hair a sharp pink tone.

“It’s a very cool color and I definitely don’t feel bored anymore,” she said.

The video attracted many viewers to share their two cents in the comments section.

One person wrote: “This is great because you can dye children’s hair with it, it looks great and doesn’t damage their head or hair in the process.”

“Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first but it’s so cute,” another said.

“My friends used to do this growing up. They had a very hippie mother and also dyed their clothes with different vegetables,” commented a third.
