I fixed my broken teeth with a £3.99 superglue kit from Amazon – I accidentally glued my finger but I’d do it again

A MAN has revealed how he fixed his broken tooth with a £3.99 kit from Amazon.
Antony Watson, from Bridlington, Yorkshire, said he was being forced to fix his own tooth because of a lack of dentists available.

His unusual solution was a DIY dental kit that he ordered online for under five francs.
He told BBC News: “I picked the best for me, which was probably one of the cheapest but also one of the easiest, and I was like, ‘yes, next day delivery, I have that.’
It allowed him to repair a broken crown that was put in place over 20 years ago.
The kit included a 20g bag of plastic beads used to wedge the tooth in place.
Antony explained: “You boil a cauldron, put the pearls in the water. The pearls then come together and become really soft and clear. Then you mold it around your tooth and let it cool.
“For the size of my tooth, it took five beads.”
Then he used super glue to hold the tooth in place.
Though he accidentally taped his finger in the process, he added that he “wouldn’t hesitate” to do it again.
Antony is not registered with an NHS dentist and said he “definitely cannot afford private treatment”.
He apparently fell off his local dentist’s books after missing “a couple of appointments” a few years ago.
Since then, two NHS dental practices in his area have reportedly closed, leaving residents with just one.
Unfortunately, the individual clinic is overbooked and is currently not accepting any new patients.
Meanwhile, another man has taken even more extreme measures in the absence of dental care.
Alex Gray, from Lincolnshire, revealed he only pulled his own teeth out with forceps and painkillers.
He said, “Teeth don’t last forever. I can’t be the only one who has to pull my own teeth, but what else can I do?
“I’ve paid my social security my entire working life and I can’t see a dentist?”
He claimed he has not been able to find an NHS dentist since moving to the area six years ago.
Instead, whenever a tooth “starts falling out,” he takes painkillers, waits “until it goes numb,” and then pulls it out with forceps.
A Department of Health spokesman said: “We are committed to ensuring that anyone seeking NHS dental care can get it when they need it and we have recently implemented dental reforms to achieve this, with the GP patient survey over 75 % of this shows patients who tried to get a dentist appointment in the last two years were successful.
“The number of dentists practicing in the NHS has increased by over 500 in the past year and we continue to work to improve access to dental care – supported by more than £3 billion annually.”
