I found a classic Ford hidden inside a barn – now I’m set to sell it for a fortune

AN INCREDIBLE classic 1965 Ford Mustang has come up for auction – and is set to sell for a staggering sum.
The classic engine has had only two previous owners and has been kept in “superb condition”.
In the late 1960s the vehicle’s engine was rebuilt from the original 289 cc to a ‘monstrous’ 351 cc V8.
The car’s seats show no signs of damage or tears – the stitching is fully intact and the front seats fold down as expected.
Both front door panels are still in a very neat condition, the decorations are also well preserved.
The iconic Mustang sat idly in a dusty barn for nearly three decades.
Despite the long period of inactivity, all documentation of the vehicle is well preserved.
There are eight bids for the chic vehicle.
A similar Ford Mustang model fetched almost £47,000 recently when it went under the hammer.
However, players have until July 10, 8:55 p.m. to claim the next owner of the engine.
Car and Classic commented, “These cars have aged like fine wine – a reminder of a bygone era and something we very rarely see these days.”
“Excellently designed, full of class and sprinkled with colorful embellishments.”
“They don’t make them like they used to.
“This is a beautiful and honest example of real American muscle.”
“Not only do they make excellent driver’s cars, but they also represent an amazing investment as prices have steadily increased over the years.”
“Whether it’s a collector’s item or an incredibly fun weekend warrior, your money won’t be wasted here.
“Find out why the Mustang has long been considered the muscle car king.”
This comes after a classic Ford Escort RS Cosworth that had been considered ‘lost’ for 31 years was rediscovered and for sale at a staggering price.
Elsewhere, an immaculate 1970 Ford Escort is expected to fetch a hefty sum at auction – and surprisingly, it even has a royal connection.
