But one man may have found a way to make this problem a thing of the past as he found a product that prevents toys from disappearing under the sofa.
Now @alexcanorganize has revealed what it is and how to use it on his TikTok account.
“I was concerned that the clear blockers that go under the couch wouldn’t be strong enough to keep stuff from going under,” he told viewers as the video began.
Alex could be seen removing every part of his couch before setting each of the plastic blockers, which can be found on Amazon for £19, on the floor.
“So we’re going to test it,” he continued, while removing a clear strip from the bottom of each blocker before gluing them to his wooden floors.
Alex continued, “They were super easy to apply. You basically just stick them to the floor and apparently they don’t damage the floor either if you decide to remove them.
“Now let’s run some tests.”
After each blocker was glued to the ground, it rolled a blue ball towards it, which bounced back.
He also tested small and large toy cars and a rubber duck.
“There is no sign of movement,” he said, reviewing the article. “I think they will stand up to me very well.
“I especially like that they’re see-through so you can’t even tell they’re there if you look under the couch.”
In the caption, he added, “Great purchase!” before adding, “No more toys under the couch!”
