I found the ‘nearly identical’ vacuum cleaner for $40 less at Walmart and it was all down to the ‘different’ box

WALMART sells “almost identical” products at different prices, but with a simple trick you can find the cheapest ones.

Shoppers have a great day with this money-saving hack using the Walmart app.

Sean is a Walmart enthusiast who makes videos on TikTok as @superunsexy.

In a recent video, he taught fans that Walmart often sells the same item at different clearance prices depending on the color.

Over in the clearance department he found a variety of vacuum cleaners that were heavily discounted.

But this savvy saver said you should “open your mind” when trying to snag a clearance bargain.

Walmart shoppers rush to shop for $190 in household luxury scanned for just $35
Walmart is making big changes to the store, but not all customers will benefit

Sean came across two Shark VacMops that looked “almost identical” – but one was gray and the other was black.

Then he opened the Walmart app and checked the prices using the Scan & Go feature.

Since the different colors had different barcodes, they also had different spacing reductions.

He noted that the gray vacuum had dropped from $99 to $78.

However, the black one was $40 cheaper – down to just $38.

“Sometimes different boxes mean different prices,” he advised.

COLOR CODE

Walmart shoppers have found this advice applies to items across the store.

Another TikToker, Kayla (@couponwithkayla), recently used this trick to shop for a new stroller at her local Walmart.

She was after a Baby Trend Tour LTE 2-in-1 stroller in red and black.

The stroller normally retails for $197, but online inventory checker Brickseek.com showed her this item was secretly released for just a penny.

Unfortunately, their store only had the product in a gray color, so the secret clearance agreement wasn’t available.

But if she could have found the red and black color, it would have only cost a dime.

Shoppers can use Brickseek.com to check out secret clearance deals at their local store – although prices vary by location.

If you’re not having much luck in the store, Walmart always has a wide variety of online deals available.
