I get dress-coded by ‘gym Karens’ every time I wear shorts to workout, but I won’t stop

A WOMAN has shared that her choice of sportswear “Karens” heats up.

When some older women take one look at her outfit, they tend to chide her for her choice of workout gear — but she doesn’t care.

Gym-goer Bree Formica did a little skit to show how some women react to her wearing shorts to get fit at the gym.

“I’m going back to the gym in shorts,” Formica wrote in her TikTok video.

She wore black shorts with ruffles on the back.

Formica cut to another clip where she looked annoyed and mimicked some women at the gym approaching her when she’s wearing what she wants.

“Karen is complaining because ‘there are young men around,'” she wrote.

Commenters on the video made it clear that they didn’t mind Formica’s gym look at all.

“We young men don’t mind at all, it’s ok,” wrote one.

“[What do you mean,] this [is] the reason I go to the gym,” added another.

“It’s good motivation Karen,” said a third.

Another person found Formica’s clothing choices admirable.

“Omg goals,” they wrote.

And a final person approached the situation with some sarcasm.

“Panty shorts!?! At the gym!?!?! How dare you!” They said.
