A FOOD influencer shared how her weight gain affected the tattoo she got as a teenager.

She explained that after gaining weight, her artwork curled up in her skin folds.

Allison (@_finallyallison) shared her tattoo experience in a video with over 580,000 TikTok followers.

A viewer asked them how their weight gain has affected their tattoos: “I really want some bigger pieces but I’m concerned about the impact the weight gain is having,” they said.

Allison happily showed off her tattoo for demonstration and took off her leggings and shirt to reveal the large tattoo from her hip to her shoulder.

She explained that she got the tattoo when she was 18 and weighed 180 pounds.

“What happens when you gain weight? Your skin stretches when you gain a lot of weight and that’s what it says all over this tattoo,” she said, tugging at her skin to reveal the stretch marks at the top of the tattoo.

“There are stretch marks from head to toe and that’s fine, that doesn’t bother me.”

“The only thing that bothers me now is that we’re missing out on some of this beautiful artwork because it gets stuck in my skin folds,” she added.
