I live in a school – my apartment is full of unusual items but the parking perk makes it worth it

A security guard has revealed the home she created for herself while living in a school.

She said her apartment is full of unusual items, but she is obsessed with her parking perk.

The guard (@jleethomp) shared the video with her TikTok followers.

She was proud of her strange living situation that met her needs: “Things about living in a school that just make sense,” she said.

First and foremost, she was happy to have her own parking space: “Having her own parking spaces where no one else can park,” she said.

Safety was everything and the security guard was happy to have her own fire alarm system in her living room.

In addition, she even had her own fire extinguisher, which was housed in a glass display case.

Additionally, she showcased a complete fire alarm and fire sprinkler system from the comfort of her own home.

The walls of her apartment were made of rock-hard cinder blocks, as is typical for a school, but she said that was a plus for her because it kept all the noise out.

Lastly, she was grateful for the double toilet paper rolls so she would never unexpectedly run out of toilet paper rolls.

People had questions about what it was like to live in a school.

“Is it cold there?” asked one curious commenter.

“Only as cold as we set the thermostat,” the guard replied.

Others thought the perks were great, but many of the home’s features weren’t that exceptional.

“Half of this is just normal apartment stuff,” said one commenter.
