Arwa (@backtmit_a) shared the recipe with over 1.1 million TikTok followers.

The 20-year-old chef explained in her profile bio that she’s lost 77 pounds, an account dedicated to sharing “recipes that are high in protein and high in calories.”

To make the lava cake, she started with 15 grams of oat flour, 5 grams of cocoa powder, and 10 grams of protein powder.

Next, she added a low-sugar sweetener of her choice, ½ teaspoon of baking soda, and 35 millimeters of almond milk.

She mixed the ingredients well with a spatula and poured the baking mix into a casserole dish.

For the melted core of the lava cake, she slid a 10-gram stick of chocolate into the center of the cake batter, lightly covering it.

She recommended heating the cake in the microwave for 25 to 40 seconds until cooked through.

While the sweet treat was delicious, it also turned out to be surprisingly healthy, with 13g of protein and just 166 total calories.

People thanked her for the recipe and praised her for the brilliant idea.

“I just made it without the protein powder and it’s really good,” said one commenter.

“Oh my god I made them for the first time tonight, wow they’re good,” said another.
