I love having a weird name – my parents didn’t have one picked out so they impulsively named me after a bus route

A woman with a UNIQUE NAME has revealed the mysterious story behind her nickname.

She admits her name is “strange” but she still loves it and would love to share the story behind it.

TikToker (@dollopofyogurtt) quickly took up the challenge when another TikToker asked: “Does everyone have a cool name, put this together and tell me how your parents named you”.

The woman excitedly replied, “This one I win, this one’s mine!”

While this isn’t the first time TikToker has told the story, she’s still excited to fill in her followers on how she got her name.

“My name is Parnassus, and if you know me, you definitely know this story. And you’ve heard it, like, a billion times, but I don’t really care, I like it, so I’ll tell it. again.”

Without divulging anything more, she went on to explain how her parents pulled Parnassus out of the hat to name their child.

“So my parents thought I was going to be a boy, and then I was born, and I wasn’t a boy.”

With a clear facial expression, Parnassus explains how things are only getting more stressful for new parents:

“And at the hospital where I was born, you have to leave the hospital 24 hours after giving birth, so time goes by very quickly,” she said in a raspy voice.

She explained that the nurses urged her parents to name her so the family could leave with their baby girl.

It was when her father was walking outside the hospital that a chance encounter led to the name signing the deal.

“The hospital was on a street called Parnassus Avenue, and the bus on Parnassus Avenue drove past him, and he was like, hmm, a Parnassus kid… that could be pretty cute. ,” she said mischievously.

Her mother agrees that this is what the nickname means.

“My mom’s like, ‘I like it,'” said wide-eyed Parnassus, who also liked their attachment to the strange name.

“And here I am! Parnassus, the girl named after a bus.”

Many of her nearly 28,000 followers shared stories of their own weird names.

“LOL, similar situation. My mom was watching soap while in the hospital room and decided, “Okay, Laiken sounds good.” And she’s not even the main character of the movie,” one follower joked.

“Haha, great,” Parnassus replied, because she was definitely involved.

“Okay, but my name is Crickett, wrote another TikToker with a unique name.
