I love to tan in my backyard – but I’ve realized my neighbors are looking right at me, it’s awkward

A woman’s fondness for tanning in her yard has become even more uncomfortable since she realized her neighbors were looking directly at her.

But she doesn’t know what to do about it because she has nowhere else to enjoy the sun’s rays.

She shared her discomfort on her TikTok and hoped she wasn’t the only one having such an issue.

Emma Sayre (@emmasayre14) is from the state of Iowa and was there Posted her tanning video.

She was lying face up on a beach mat, her sunglasses pulled back on her head as she addressed her thorny issue.

She wore a cute multicolored bikini. “Anyone else get an odd feeling when tanning in their backyard?” she asked her viewers.

It was something Emma really liked to do. “I love tanning in my garden because it’s nice outside.”

But looking around, she realized her tanning spot wasn’t far from prying eyes.

“I have a nice big backyard, but then I realize my neighbors can see me,” she said.

Your problem would only get worse. “I live on a busy street, even if I drive by slowly and they happen to drop by, they can definitely see me.”

“But people walking by are probably wondering, ‘What the hell is this girl doing lying in her bathing suit?’

She panned her camera to show how close her neighbors were.

“For example, this house can literally look right down at me and they have a young child and they’ve seen my bathing suits, which are even insanely revealing.”

It made her uncomfortable. “It just feels kinda weird.”

Finally, she said happily, “Just disturb my sunset.”

Commenters referenced her post and said, “Me too.”

Another also got a tan in her backyard: “I was just outside tanning and I’m sure my neighbors thought I was crazy.”

The last commenter advised just not taking any notice: “It’s your own backyard. When they stare, they’re the crazy ones,” she said.
