A WOMAN has revealed how she made an amazing lamp from a tree branch found by accident.

The TikTok user explained in a video how she upgraded the lighting in her living room with the unusual – but very affordable – item.

in one postthe woman revealed that she bought her first house at the age of 26 but had to renovate it on a very tight budget.

She explained that to keep costs down, she did a lot of DIY at her house.

This included painting and installing the floor herself, as well as repurposing items to decorate her space.

Recounting her trip, the woman said, “Then she found this branch and thought, ‘Hey, that would be a great lamp!’

“Which actually worked surprisingly well.”

The video shows her wrapping the light and wiring — which were sheathed in rope — around the wood.

She then placed it next to her sofa, creating an original accent in her quiet space.

The woman captioned the post, “I’ve lived here less than a year and I’ve redecorated *at least* three times.”

The clip, which previously also featured the ordinary off-white lamp in its place, has been “liked” more than 30,000 times.

One person wrote: “Love the branch lamp!!”

Another commented, “This lamp is everything.”

A third shared: “Girls you are absolutely gorgeous! These DIY ideas are inspirational.”

Many also added that they liked the accent wall’s color change from cream to green.

She revealed the color came from Dunelm in the shade “Moss Green”.
