I made my sister’s £80 wedding dress – it’s GREEN for starters, and has secret notes all over it
A CRAFTY fashionista made her sister a BLUE wedding dress with special messages hidden inside – and people have hailed it as “incredible”.
Imogen Evans launched her own clothing brand in late 2020 after leaving her job as a live-in nanny.

Her sustainable brand Imi Studios has more than 75,000 followers on TikTok and many big-name celebrities have worn her outfits – including Tallia Storm, Love Island’s Mal Nicol and musician Anderson .Paak.
But perhaps her most important customer is her sister.
Imogen told how she was “nervous” after being asked to make a wedding dress for her sister’s big day.
Using £80 worth of materials, the fashion enthusiast got to work sewing the ao dai – and she decided to give it an unusual twist.
The dress is not only inspired by her sister’s old “neon green” hair, but also contains sweet messages underneath the fabric.
Imogen told her followers: “When we went fabric shopping, we found an olive green material that we thought would look really cute with a chiffon material on top.
“I asked my sister’s fiancé to write countless memories and personal jokes to line the inside.
“It’s a green dress with pink details, her shoes are pink and I made her a pink bag out of the same fabric.
“My sister used to have beautiful neon green hair and she was considering dyeing it but decided it was too much effort.”
Imogen said the reaction to her sister’s dress was positive because it suited her quirky style.
She added: “She’s a jazz musician and wears a lot of bright colors and a lot of pieces from my brand.
“The feedback was amazing, everyone loved the day because it was so authentic and true to them.
“She looks unreal and the dress is so easy to wear.”
The fashion designer’s followers flocked to the comments to praise the unique wedding dress.
One person wrote: “The color, the lining, the whole dress, the shoes… AMAZING! Congratulations on your sister and the road ahead!”
Another said: “YES. Congratulations to your sister, she looks like the most amazing person ever.”

Imogen, who lives in London, custom-designed nine outfits for her best friend Mal to wear on Love Island this year.
