Ashley, 38, of Edinburgh, said: “All the little bites seem to be going viral online.

“People started saying ‘is there any chance you could do mini food’ and it took off.

“I guess people like anything miniature, I know I like that.

“I thought, ‘oh my God, it’s so cute,’ because it’s small.

“Since then, everyone has been asking for ‘favorite’ cupcakes so they’ll send me a list of their boyfriend’s favorites and I’ll make them.

“I have always loved baking, cooking and making things look beautiful.

“I worked for a catering company through high school and college, and I made all the canapes and everything there.

“But until now I really didn’t think it could be a real job.

“I was too scared to do this because I wasn’t busy enough, but it seems like it just worked out.

“It’s so weird that I just made a cake from my kitchen and it just got taken away.”
