I named my kids Patience and Jackson-Lee, but they’re not spelled that way – people say I tried to use all 26 letters

ANYONE with a unique name knows the struggle of having to constantly explain spelling and pronunciation to strangers.
A woman made the spelling of her children’s names too complicated, and people are confused.

A Reddit user shared the oddly spelled names in a group shaming unusual baby names.
“Please say sike,” the online user captioned the post.
In a screenshot of a Facebook comment, the mother explained, “I have two children with unusually spelled names, Paexhynx and Jaaksyn-Lhi.”
She revealed that “Paexhynx” is pronounced “patience” while “Jaaksyn-Lhi” is the same as “Jackson Lee”.

The unnamed mother explained that she has no regrets about the name Paexhynx.
She shared that she changed the spelling of the name because she felt the original spelling was too feminine.
The mother-of-six explained that Jaaksyn-Lhi is named after her husband’s uncle, but she has some regrets about the name.
“We’re shortening his name to Jaaks and it’s looking good,” she revealed.
Her other children’s names include Zion, Katya, Kylani, and Kelstyn La’Maia.
Reddit users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the confusing baby names.

“Look lady, I know there are 26 letters, but you really don’t have to use them all,” said one reader.
Another person pointed out, “These kids will spend their entire lives (or until they legally change their names) spelling their names right away without being asked.”
“I was thinking of something like Pazyn?? I definitely couldn’t pronounce it without knowing what it’s supposed to be,” wrote a third user.
