I revealed my daughter’s name and people say it sounds like ‘the Costco version of expensive liquor’
A grandparent shared their daughter’s unique name, and people think it’s a bit watered down.
A Redditor (u/itsyagirlblondie) stumbled across the name on social media and shared the post on a forum.
They fired on what they felt was an offensive and acidic name.
In the post, the grandparents shared a photo of their ballerina grandchild at a concert.
“Are size 7-8 and ask me for ballerina outfit and tutus, thanks a lot,” they said.
“Picture of my granddaughter Hennacie.”
The Redditor was bitter about the alcoholic inspiration of the name.
“As if Hennessy wasn’t bad enough… imagine, Hennacie…” they quipped.
People used the comments to share their thoughts.
Many struck the name with an unrelenting spirit.
“Is that the Costco version of the more expensive liquor?” asked one commenter.
“Bayleigh was too easy for them,” said another.
Others were just relieved that the name wasn’t worse.
“At least it’s not HennaCee,” sighed a third.
