She said her usual breakfast has four ingredients and only takes a few minutes to make.
TikToker Jess gets healthy (@jessgetsfit0) said her go-to healthy food is breakfast tacos with eggs.
In a new one videotapesShe said the first step is to cut a medium onion in half.
Then she cut a red bell pepper in half.
She sprays her pans with Pam, a cooking spray that helps keep food from sticking.
Jess said she cooks the onions and peppers for about 5 to 7 minutes.
While the vegetables are cooking, you can prepare the eggs.
The weight loss expert says to “break three eggs, mix well, add a little salt and pepper and mix again.”
Once the vegetables are tender, Jess says she’ll add the egg mixture to the pan.
“Let it sit and cook for two to three minutes,” she says.
Once the eggs are ready, Jess reveals there are two ways they can be eaten: on a “simple plate” or with a carb-free tortilla.
She said she also likes to add an avocado for healthy fats.
“Lately I’ve been making this for breakfast almost every morning and usually save half for the next day.
Jess clarified that she had undergone vertical gastric bypass surgery, a weight loss procedure that creates the size of the stomach.
“I had gastric bypass surgery so my weight loss is largely due to this in addition to changing my eating habits,” she said.
