I Talked Trump Out of Quitting Race When Access Hollywood Tape Dropped

Now that Donald Trump is out of office, those who have given him permission are looking for ways to monetize their experience. Kellyanne Conway is the newest. And fascinating pieces from her upcoming book have leaked.

In her book, Conway will explain how her husband, George, violated their marriage vows by hitting Trump. The former special counsel will also discuss how she talked Trump out of the race in 2016.

The Daily Beast outlines what Conway will write about Trump following the release of the Access Hollywood tape. “She wrote that Trump had seen reports that the GOP ‘could force him to be disqualified or hold a vote to deport him’ in fury over his false comments, which were published recorded on video a decade earlier. Conway said that at the time, she questioned whether Trump might be testing her, or whether he was actually guessing.

The report continued that Conway told Trump, “You really can’t unless you want to give up and throw the whole damn thing at Hillary. She said she later explained to him that stepping out of the race at the time was not in the picture, as early voting had already begun. “

If Conway tells the truth, her decision will change American politics forever.
