I thought I was buying a cute puppy but everyone says he looks like bad taxidermy

A DOGS owner bought what appeared to be an adorable rescue pup – but everyone said he looks like a bad taxidermy.
The animal lover rescued the pooch after he was in a bad situation.

But while some found the dog cute, others were quick to comment on his looks.
Chupey’s owner shares videos online to raise awareness about caring for special needs pets.
They said: “Bought what I was told was a 5,000 hyena pup.
“Just kidding. I saved Chupey from a bad situation. I knew perfectly well that he was a mixed breed with some genetic abnormalities.
“It took a while for him to heal. But he is perfect and happy and loved.”
TikTokker @cheers.for.chupey rescued the lonely pup and shares videos of their life together online.
The video garnered a whopping 1.2 million likes — and viewers were divided on Chupey.
Many quickly took to the comments section to share their feelings.
One commented, “He’s gorgeous but also looks like he belongs on one of those bad taxidermy sites.”
A second added: “I’ve never had so many mixed feelings in my entire life… I love him, I’d be scared of him even in the dark.”
A third chimed in: “God this boy is terrifying…I love him.”
It’s not the first time pets have had divided opinions.
The proud owner of Britain’s ugliest dog has said she’s beautiful and loves her no matter what.
Holly Middleton adopted unwanted puppy Peggy when she was six months old.
Meanwhile, an American woman adopted what she thought was a stray husky puppy before discovering it was something quite deadly.
The dog’s owner shared old clips of her adorable little fluffy pup before revealing the beast had grown into a wolfhound – tall and shaggy with menacing yellow eyes.
Elsewhere, another dog lover believed she bought an expensive poodle for her parents, but it grew into a very different breed.
