I transformed an old, rusty swing set with some TLC and B&M bargain buys – they’ve given my garden a whole new look

A SAVVY woman was showered with praise after revealing how she gave an old garden swing a total shine.

Marie Ashton Ne Bennett explained that she didn’t want to throw away the popular nursery set – so she found the perfect solution.

With a little attention to detail, she gave the once-blue metal swings a whole new, stylish look—and they’re unrecognizable.

Go to the Money Saving Facebook Group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UKshe shared a snap of the swings ahead of the stunning transformation.

She then shared an after photo of the swings being transformed into boho-chic chairs with tassel detailing.

The aesthetically pleasing chairs provide the perfect seating area in the garden and feature pretty cushions with a blue and pink floral pattern.

Marie completed the look by placing a stylish rug under the chairs and adding a matching table in the center – ideal for placing your drinks.

While it’s not known where Marie got her seats from, one person noted in the comments section, “B&M has them.”

Alongside the picture, Marie wrote, “I thought I’d share it — not throw it away.”

“They can be made beautiful with some TLC.

“Won’t be to everyone’s taste, but perfect for me.”

But it seems Marie was wrong – the post garnered a whopping 4.2k likes and over 540 comments from social media users.

“It’s so beautiful,” praised one.

A second gushed: “Love this!”
