I tried on my mom’s Y2K bikini with matching skirt and I’m ‘obsessed’ – everyone says the same thing

THIS vintage thrift collector had tried on her mom’s year 2000 bikini with a matching skirt, and she was “obsessed.”

Viewers flooded the comments section to tell the woman how cute she looked in the bikini set after posting the outfit poolside on TikTok.

The frugal queen, who calls herself Ray of Angela, found an early 2000s bikini set at her mum’s house.

“One of my favorite things to do is go through her old clothes and decide what to wear for the day,” Angela said in the video, referring to her mother’s wardrobe.

Angela filmed herself in a strapless orange bikini top with a lime green tie down the middle.

She also had a sheer lime green skirt that covered her bikini bottoms.

“Today was a pool day so I pulled out this bikini set with this matching skirt and [her mom] said it was from 2005,” Angela said.

She added, “I’m obsessed.”

Viewers also seemed obsessed with one saying, “Those colors suit you so cute!”

Another commenter said: “I love this one.”

“Your mom was such a badass!! so cute!!” a third wrote.

To which Angela replied, “She was and still is!!”

One viewer noticed something familiar about the orange and green color scheme: “Gives Nickelodeon 2000s vibes.”

Another TikToker tried on her grandma’s vintage bikini from the ’90s.

Tyffany (@breakfastwithtyffany07) tried on a two piece swimsuit in pink dating from the late 80’s early 90’s.

“It’s so pretty. It’s so pretty,” she said in the video.

“Grandma has style!” She added.

Her only criticism of the bathing suit was that she wished the top had adjustable straps so it could be a little more fitted.
