I tried on my old cheerleading outfits a decade later – I was called a ‘beauty queen’ and I love the fit even more

A YOUTUBER woman tried on her old cheerleader outfits over a decade later and was dubbed the “beauty queen.”

Nicolette Ambulo is a Filipino YouTuber with over 3,000 subscribers.

She creates travel and lifestyle content on the platform, but also has a cheerleading background from her days as a student at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

In one of her videos, Nicolette can be seen pushing a large plastic bucket, which she calls a “costume box,” into view.

“For today’s vlog guys, I’m going to share my costume box with you guys.”

The box contained all of her cheerleading uniforms from her days in competitions.

Nicolette said in the vlog that she has a background in dance, jazz and cheerleading and competed from a young age.

Much of the uniforms date from over a decade ago, including the one worn by Nicolette at the 2007 UAAP Cheerdance Competition, which her school won.

While holding up the uniforms, Nicolette also shared pictures from her time at competitions.

Towards the end of the 10 minute video, Nicolette tries on some of the uniforms she previously shared.

Nicolette struts around her room posing in the outfits, smiling for the camera while spinning around to show the details.

At one point, Nicolette stretches and even tries out one of her old dance routines, but pulls a tight face, suggesting she might not be as nimble anymore.

The video received more than 3,000 views and comments from multiple people complimenting the different designs of each uniform.

“Beauty queen……” wrote one person.

“Hey new video again by the way you look cute wearing your old costumes,” wrote another.

A third wrote: “Omygosh! Those old UP Pep costumes!!”

Nicolette replied, “Hahaha yes!!! Old but good!!”
