I tried to give myself a lash lift but it was a fail – I ended up giving myself a rash & had to power wash the glue off

EVERYONE wants to try and save money if possible.
And one area where some people may cut back is beauty appointments.
But they may also want to continue their pampering routine – so they could try it at home instead.
Marry Adria, whose name is adria & oatmeal on TikTok and has more than 667 thousand followers.
She tried to lift her lashes at home but failed completely.
An eyelash lift is a cosmetic procedure that curls your existing eyelashes, giving them a longer, fuller appearance.
And with TikTok, she showed her followers how she kept going.
The video was captioned: “Reviews say this is easy.”
First, she starts by using a headband to keep her hair off her face, before applying duct tape underneath her lashes.
Adria then applies the lash lift formula to her lashes using a roller, before applying a silicone shield for the lashes to stick to.
She let it dry before removing the shield from her eyelids – but it didn’t go quite as planned.
Adria filmed herself struggling to remove the silicone when her eyelashes got stuck in there and left behind a lot of glue.
This means she has to wash her face really hard to remove the formula that is causing her lashes to stick together.
Speaking of the energy wash, she said: “I think that completely defeats the purpose of the treatment.
“And I’m pretty sure I got a rash on my eyelids, that’s the only thing that got me out of this treatment.”
The video has garnered thousands of likes, with many flocking to the comments section to share their thoughts.
One person wrote: “That’s why it’s so important to read the manual and buy a reputable kit.”
Another added: “LASH DAMAGE this can cause!! This video freaked me out! As a technician lashed out lol DON’T DO IT.

The third said: “Omg why did you tear it up like that!!”
A fourth commented: “No, you have to use oil to remove your lashes from the glue before removing the stick!!!”
