I was called crazy when I revealed my son’s name – people said they’d be fuming if he was their grandchild but I love it

A 5-year-old mother has revealed that she “looks horrified” at telling people her son’s full name.
Proud mother Aimee regularly shares sweet photos of her children on social media… but everyone finds her youngest son’s middle name nothing short of sweet.
She teased it in a mock TikTok video that she received “aghast looks from everyone in the room” as soon as she told people about the name.
Aimee added comment that “it’s just a name” and that she and her partner “love it”.
Curious people have commented to reveal the name for the boy born in January this year.
The mother then uploaded another video revealing her son’s middle name is Lucifer.
The male name is derived from the Latin word for “bearer of light”, but is also the nickname of the archangel banished to hell.
It was later used by the Christian religions as the name for the devil, also known as Satan.
People flocked to the comments on the video revealing Aimee’s name to express shock at her choice – and many deemed it “inappropriate” for a baby.
“I would be so upset if my crazy daughter-in-law named my grandchild like that,” one reviewer wrote. “I’m sure you’re hated.”
California-based Aimee, who has three children under the age of three, applauded that the choice of the name was a collaborative effort with her partner.
“We didn’t name it after the devil, we simply liked the name,” she added. “We just tell people we love the name.
“That’s not a lie…that’s the only reason we chose it.”
“I wish there was a limit to what you could name a baby,” said another reviewer.
However, there are still some fans of unconventional choices.
“What is his name?” someone asked. “I don’t understand why people hate middle names.
“Lucifer was once an angel if anyone noticed.”
“Lucifer is the name of an angel,” another repeated. “Wonderful.”
Other fans of the name called it “cute” and “awesome”.
