He was part of the Gogglebox furniture for five years – but Chris Ashby-Steed is now desperately trying to move on from his TV past.
The 45-year-old hairdresser, who appeared on the Channel 4 reality show alongside his ex-boyfriend Stephen Webb, has now left Brighton to start a new life Wales with husband Tony Ashby-Steed, 52.

While looking for a rural place to put down roots, the pair stumbled upon their new location by chance, which they liken to the most beautiful parts of Devon and Cornwall.
Tony said: “We didn’t know any areas and had the idea that by looking at houses we might discover an area we like, or we might find a house that we completely fell in love with and then go and look at it must.” the area that it is.”
