Without that kind of money floating around, she decided to do it herself instead – and has told how it has saved her thousands of dollars.

How? By shopping at Ikea and installing it yourself.

In a clip shared on TikTok (@diy_mummy), she explains: “I was quoted over £13,000 for a new kitchen.

“So I went to Ikea and bought all the appliances, the warmers, the extractors, the ovens and the microwaves and all that and saved THOUSANDS.”

And it’s fair to say the kitchen is completely unrecognizable.
