Sabrina Tan (@thesabrinatan) shared the fruit of her green thumb in one Video posted on TikTok.

“If you’re tired of paying five bucks for a small packet of mint and other herbs, buy a raised garden container from Amazon and plant your own.”

“Now you have an endless supply of your favorite herbs and even a few extras to give to friends and family,” she said.

The Ohoo garden boxfrom Amazon, is currently sold out, but a similar one from FOYUEE The retail price is $54.82.

The video attracted a lot of viewers, and several cautioned against planting mint alongside other herbs in the comments section.

“I did that. My mint took over and didn’t let anything else get water. I had to rip it all up and put it in its own pot,” wrote one.

“I’ll do that next year,” Sabrina replied. “It’s been two months and things are going quite well at the moment.”

“Congratulations on your mint garden,” added another.

“Guys, I see, I see. You can tell it’s my first time planting an herb garden,” Sabrina replied.

“I have to say mint is amazing, even when it has the upper hand it keeps bugs and spiders away,” commented a third party. “So if you have a large coin box, don’t be discouraged.”

“Thanks lol I got crucified haha,” Sabrina wrote back.

“If possible, I would transfer the mint to its own container. It’s a beast,” warned another.

“Mint will take over,” said another.

“Learn something new in TikTok every day,” said Sabrina. “Mint is the devil and will suffocate everything else. Understood.”
