I work at Walmart – they dress-coded me after just 30 mins but people can’t see what was wrong with my outfit
A WALMART employee has claimed she was dressed by her bosses after just 30 minutes.
But Yonna’s revelation left viewers slightly confused as they didn’t know what was wrong with her clothes.
In a clip that went viral, the TikToker wore a hoodie underneath her yellow fleece.
She had chosen to wear blue jeans and black studded boots.
Yonna told viewers, “I haven’t been here in 30 minutes and they gave me a dress code.”
TikTokers were baffled trying to figure out what was wrong with the employee’s outfit.
One said: “Bro I literally don’t see anything wrong. she [are] mess with you.”
Another claimed: “They can’t dress you. What’s wrong with what’s on you?”
However, some viewers speculated that her manager might have had an issue with her hoodie.
Yonna’s sweater appeared to have a print on the front.
But one TikToker pretending to be a Walmart employee claimed that his manager had no problem with employees wearing hoodies.
Yonna later revealed bosses have warned that hoodies are “safety risks.”
Fans said the employee should have just tucked the hood into her fleece so she doesn’t get a dress code.
Earlier this month, The US Sun reported that carefree ex-Walmart worker Davena Campbell never followed the retailer’s dress code.
In a viral video, she claimed to be the “most hated” employee.
Walmart revealed in 2018 that employees can wear jeans and shirts of any color and pattern.
This meant that workers didn’t have to wear only blue clothes.
Workers may also wear casual shoes or sneakers but must wear their vests and have their name tags displayed.
However, according to Algrim, employees are prohibited from wearing loungewear such as leggings.
And jeans shouldn’t have stains, rips or frayed edges.
Supermarket employees may be able to wear a company baseball cap.
Bosses can ask employees who have piercings to remove them for health and hygiene reasons.
The US Sun reported how a Walmart employee went to work on her day off and claimed she was dress-coded by management in the store.
