I’m 99 but have always wanted to have knives thrown at me – now my dream has finally come true, says OAP daredevil

A 99-YEAR-OLD woman said her dream of having knives thrown at her had finally come true.

OAP daredevil Annie Duplock, 99, from Sharnford in Leicestershire, was standing by a board during a live circus show when a professional knife thrower hurled blades at her.

Annie, a retired circus worker, persuaded her daughter to contact her former boss Martin Burton, whose Zippo Circus was performing in Coventry.

He agreed to allow knife thrower Toni to include the nearly centenarian in the performance, saying the performer will be “very professional about it.”

Introducing Annie to a cheering crowd, Martin said, “Annie worked for me putting up posters 30 years ago.”

“Annie was 70 at the time and will be 100 this August.”

Martin told the audience that Annie had seen the show the night before and asked him to be there for the knife thrower performance for her 100th birthday.

Annie said, “I’ve always wanted knives to be thrown at me!”

“I really enjoyed this experience. I’m ready for the next one.”

It comes after a parrot-crazy great-grandfather decorated his £300,000 home with a huge mural of his birds – and his neighbors are loving it.

Incredible images captured the moment a younger daredevil grabbed the mouth of a gigantic, 17-foot great white shark in a terrifying hand-to-hand combat.
