I’m a celebrity tattoo artist – here’s the tattoo EVERYONE regrets, it’s impossible to cover up too
A CELEBRITY tattoo artist has warned people not to get the ink he says EVERYONE regrets.
Gordon James, an award-winning artist from Livingston, has worked with many famous faces such as Game of Thrones favorite Hafþór Björnsson, music megastar Machine Gun Kelly and Scottish UFC scraper Paul Craig.
But he also works with the public every day and has realized that there is one particular tattoo that people wish they had never gotten.
He says: “I’ve never met anyone who has a tribal tattoo and doesn’t regret it.
“It might have looked good on Dusk Till Dawn with Brad Pitt, but it doesn’t look so good playing nine to five.
“I would just say good luck covering, you can’t cover black with white.”
Gordon, who can be booked here, adds: “Healing with laser treatment or amputation are the alternatives.”
Previously, the tattoo artist revealed the customer habits that annoyed him the most.
He said: “Not washing your feet if you are about to tattoo their lower leg/foot and need to get them dousing their feet with deodorant.
“I have sent numerous customers to the store so that they can buy cleaning products for their feet.”
But that’s not the only thing that irks professionals, and Gordon thinks it’s important to know how to make artists happy.
Explaining other common complaints, he says, “When they show up to their appointment and brag about their inability to feel pain or say it’s relaxing while getting a tattoo, only to end up screaming an hour or so after the session .
“Or when clients show up to their appointment with an empty stomach and then pass out in their tattoo for almost an hour or so.
“And asking them to create a design before they’ve even paid a deposit for the tattoo, not realizing it can take hours to design a piece for the client.”
“And tell you they can do it cheaper elsewhere, then do it cheaper and come back and ask you to fix it.”
