I’m a cleaning expert – people call me crazy for my hack to clean headlights but it works like magic

A cleaning expert has revealed an unorthodox method for cleaning your engine’s headlights – but it works like magic.
This cost-effective solution may not be the first thing that comes to mind when it comes to cleaning your car.
But Amanda posts a video @amandaleon – shocked fans as she pulled out a can of bug spray and told viewers: “I know you’re going to think I’m crazy, but stick with me.”
Applying the product can be done yourself, but Amanda hires a “handy dandy man” to keep her car looking sparkling clean.
After covering the headlight with bug spray, the influencer’s helper scrubs the affected area thoroughly with a damp cloth until the surface is clean.
“The beetle is gone or the dirt is gone?” she jokes.
“Just like magic, y’all.
“We’re not playing!” Brand new!”
However, the seemingly clever tip was criticized by an expert.
YouTuber and car expert Chris Fix warned: “First, don’t spray this directly on the headlight.”
“You have all your paint and rubber trim here that could be damaged if you do that.”
“The reason the headlights get so clear is because of the DEET [insect repellent] actually dissolves the plastic on the headlight.”
It comes after motorists were left stunned after discovering a £1 hack that will make your car’s interior sparkle – and it’s so easy.
This cost-effective solution uses basic everyday products you have lying around your house.
Elsewhere, drivers were stunned to discover this cheap trick to keep their cars looking good – it costs less than a fiver.
This inexpensive and quick trick only requires one product—which you probably already have in your bathroom.
