I’m a cleaning fanatic – my 15p hack will keep your house free of yucky bin smell, it’s so easy
A CLEANING fanatic has revealed a cheap trick she swears will help keep her home free of unpleasant kitchen odors.
Maria Coldwell, 46, is a huge fan of Zoflora and has a huge collection of the cleaning giant’s products.

And having an item in her inventory helps keep her house smelling fresh.
Maria, from Barnsley, Yorkshire, said: “I learned an inexpensive trick to soak cotton pads in Zoflora’s concentrated disinfectant and place them in the bottom of the bin to keep the house smelling fresh. “
With a 500ml bottle of concentrated disinfectant costing just £4.79 from B&M, the trick is effective in just 15 minutes of a 15ml application.
And it’s not the only use for the fan-favorite product.
Maria adds: “In the winter months, I like to wipe the radiators with concentrated, diluted water so that when they heat up, they release a fragrance.
“And for bathroom cleaning, pouring a few lids into the toilet bowl is a good way to keep the toilet clean and fresh.”
Maria previously revealed the best trick her mother taught her when she was a child – and she still uses it to this day.
“When I was a kid, a tip my mom shared was that she soaked dish towels and rags in Zoflora overnight to keep them clean and fresh for longer,” she says.
“And, this is what I still do to this day!
“I think this is why Zoflora and its fragrance reminds me of
childhood.”
And now, Mrs Hinch’s favorite cleaning brand is even recognized by Maria’s children – and the mother hopes they will continue to use it as they get older.
She added: “I now use Zoflora products every day in my home – it’s a product I love and will continue to use.
