In a new video, she shares how she gets rid of black mold for good – and the secret is a £1.50 spray from Wilko.

The Wilko Original White Vinegar Spray is available both online and in stores.

During the short video, Toni can be seen spraying the white vinegar spray directly onto some mold stains on her walls and baseboards.

She wrote: “Let it sit for an hour!

Then she wipes away the mold with a microfiber cloth, leaving both the walls and baseboard looking clean.

She then instructs her followers to spray the area again and leave it overnight.

Finally, she paints over the area with Ronseal anti-mold paint.

She added, “If you’re painting the entire wall, let the paint dry for a few days!”

Under the scroll, she wrote: “How to get rid of mold on walls for good!

“Ok, my house is almost 100 years old and this is the second time in 22 years that I’ve had this problem with mold (not bad considering it’s only happened twice in over 20 years).

“The problem is these individual brick bay windows.

“I use @lovewilko’s white vinegar and it’s the best not only for cleaning but for those little cleaning jobs we hate!

“I also let it sit overnight to make sure all the mold was gone!

“Then I used @ronseal.uk which was the paint I used when I first encountered mold in that exact spot about 11 years ago!

“(I didn’t use white vinegar at the time, I just washed the wall and painted it that color).

“So well done considering I didn’t clean up the mold properly!

“Hope this helps if you live in an old house like me!”

Fans loved her advice, with the video garnering more than 4,900 likes and 733,000 views.

In the comments, Toni’s followers shared their reactions, with one writing: “

Another said: “I’ve always used bleach but the mold returns after a few weeks. Worse than ever this year as I rarely turn on the heating. Will try white vinegar, fingers crossed it works better than bleach.”

Although not everyone was convinced, it was only a short-term solution for some labels.

One said: “No, you have to find the source and fix it. What does the masonry look like on the other side?”

Someone else said: “Will never stop mold from coming back. Any anti-mold spray will do the same thing as the white vinegar.

“No matter how many times you apply anti-mold blocker, it always comes through.”
