CLEANING expert Laura Mountford has revealed her 55p secret to making everything spotless – including things inside and outside her home.

Known on social media as @lauracleanaholic, Laura has amassed an impressive 522,000 followers on Instagram, where she regularly shares her cleaning tips and tricks.

In a video, Laura shared her trick to keeping her home looking and smelling fresh, and it might surprise you.

Cleaning fan Laura explains that she swears by using dish soap to get rid of dirt and grime in and around her home.

She said, “Sometimes all you need is the dish soap!

“Dish soap is such a versatile cleaner and can be used for so much more around the home than just scrubbing dirty dishes.

“Here are some top tips for cleaning with dish soap: cleaning showers and bathtubs, mopping patio tiles, cleaning windows and unclogging toilets.”

In Laura’s clip, she demonstrates how to use dish soap.

First she uses it to make her shower shine – putting some on the foot of her shower and rubbing it in with a long brush.

She then rinses the shower off, revealing the now sparkling floor.

Another way Laura uses dish soap might leave you gaping, but it’s actually mopping her patio tiles.

She mixes some dish soap with warm water and uses a mop to clean her dingy patio.

After that, Laura puts washing-up liquid in a Dishmatic dishwashing brush and uses the brush to clean her windows.

And finally, Laura puts plenty of washing-up liquid on her toilet and not only clears her toilet with a toilet brush, but also makes it shine.

Laura’s video clearly impressed many as it garnered 59,822 likes.
