I’m a country girl – I wear shorts and play in the hose but I’m not what men expect, some say I’m ‘way better’

SOME people think that a western hat and a pair of boots are all it takes to be a self-proclaimed “country girl.”
One woman showed off her real cowgirl attitude – and while it’s not what many are expecting, viewers don’t mind.

When Avery (@ava_gravyyy) took to TikTok to open up about the phenomenon, she had plenty of evidence to back her case.
She put together a montage of posed photos showing women she considered “country girls” in name only.
“Country girl anticipation,” she captioned the images, which featured well-groomed women in skimpy plaid outfits.
Almost all of the photos showed women in bare midriff plaid crop tops leaning on fence posts or in haystacks.

In one photo, a woman wearing a cowgirl hat and designer belt pointed a pistol at the camera.
Another showed a woman in a leather vest, micro shorts and hoop earrings smiling with her fingers in her belt loops.
Avery’s video was immediately edited back to “reality”: a clip of her, in a tank top and loose shorts, standing in front of bulky farm equipment.
In one hand, Avery held what appeared to be an almost empty pitcher of iced tea.
With her other hand, she squirted water from a hose directly into her open mouth.
Water bounced off her face for the camera and dripped onto the front of her dirty tank top.

Avery was self-deprecating in the caption. “At this point I’m just giving you the content to bully me for it,” she wrote.
But her followers were delighted with Avery’s candid clip and candid portrayal of country life.
“We don’t want no bunnies,” one viewer wrote, using a derogatory term for a woman who attends rodeos just for romance cowboys.
Others got nostalgic about drinking from the hose.
“Skin water hits differently,” said one commenter.
Another agreed, writing, “I do this all the time in the summer because I’m too lazy to go inside.”
Some commented on Avery’s comfortable choice of workwear.
“I do chores in my pajamas,” interjected a country girl.
Men were eager to compliment Avery, and viewers agreed that she was “a lot better” than the country girls she compared herself to.

“I bet you’re gorgeous if you want to look fancy,” said one flirtatious commenter.
“Half those girls probably never stepped foot in a barn or barefoot in cow shit,” wrote another viewer.
