I’m a farmer – I tried one of Amazon’s top-rated pest control products in my garden, it was a fail

A FARMER tried a popular pest control method in her garden but she was not impressed with the results.

The green thumb influencer demonstrated how to use Amazon’s top-rated product.

In her videotapesTikTok user Kasey (@tattooedaudhder) explains that one of her gardens is “completely infested with pests.”

TikToker decided to test one of Amazon’s top-rated natural organic pest control products to see if it could save her crops.

Showing her followers the yellow sticky traps, she said: “These are used to attract cucumber bugs, mosquitoes, things like that.”

The Pest control traps available in packs of 10 for $6 from Amazon.

“See which organic and natural gardening products really work when pests attack your garden,” Kasey captioned her clip.

After leaving sticky traps in her garden, Kasey showed viewers the results.

She said: “As you can see, it caught the mosquitoes pretty well but they lost their stickiness very quickly and they didn’t attract any cucumber bugs.

The farmer continued: “We have a lot of flies but almost all the cucumber beetles are the ones that I slapped with it, which got my Serena Williams hooked.”

Kasey pointed out several other problems with organic pest control traps.

“It lost its stickiness very quickly, it caught some of my bees,” explains the content creator.

She added: “I had to use some extra brackets I had on hand, some metal ones, and it took ages to install them.”

Kasey concludes: “I would say the sticky trap experiment has failed.”

In the comments, one viewer pointed out another potential problem with sticky traps.

“Yes, those sticky traps will be useless in a few hours with our dust storms in New Mexico,” the TikTok user wrote.
