I’m a fashion fan – the 4 trends you need this fall, including the non-Y2K decade making a comeback

THINKING about cooler days and colorful leaves, a fashion guru has shared the top four trends we’ll be seeing this fall.
One of them will make you give up your Y2K sunglasses and move on to another era.
Maleya Nichole (@namyanichole) has a thing for clothes.
Regularly sharing her shopping trips and style tips on TikTok, she recently revealed a few pieces that you’ll want to incorporate into your wardrobe this fall.
“We’ve seen the runway, so we know what we can expect,” she said in clipmention trends that will catch the eye in the coming months.
RED
If you want to be trendy, start buying red.
“Red is the color of the season, we’ve seen it all over the catwalk.
“Every fashion girl is talking about it right now. It’s beautiful and it’s fun.”
For the exact shade, she says to choose bright cherry tones.
“This is being specifically incorporated into boots, jackets and bags.
“It adds a pop of color and elevates any outfit into a girls’ fashion.”
Mayela also says you can bring playful colors into your everyday outfit through a blazer.
GREEN
Another color she says we’ll see a lot of is olive green.
“This one is a little quieter, a little more neutral.”
Mayela points to a green shiny leather jacket, noting that’s the look she wants to emulate.
YELLOW
The final color that we want to achieve coziness is yellow.
“It’s fun because we offer a lot of bright colors, and usually we’ll choose that color for summer or spring.
“This allows you to add a big pop of color and make a statement.”
Outbreak of the 1970s
And while we’ve seen Generation Z and Millennials revisit Y2K trends as well – like kids t-shirts, pleated skirts, clear sunglasses and butterfly clips – Maleya says we’ll look back on a decade more this year.

“A lot of 1970s-inspired styles hit the runway,” she said, referring to the image of a woman wearing a white button-down shirt and suede vest.
Some other ways to integrate this trend into your wardrobe is by wearing flared pants, flared pants, corduroy pants and button-down shirts.
