The gardening enthusiast confessed that she uses a fork to remove her small plants and seedlings from their seed trays.
She said: “A fork has many uses! makes it so much easier to scoop up your little seedlings so you can transplant them.”
“I always carry a fork with me in the greenhouse so I can eat my plants…just kidding.”
“So if you’re about to pot your seedlings, don’t do that. Don’t pull on your plant to pull it out.”
It was a friend who originally suggested Meg use a fork.
“I was always guilty of this until someone told me to use a fork. I was like, what use a fork for?”
“But they were so right that the easiest way is to just scoop the little seedlings out of the seed tray.”
Meg explains that a fork is easy to use and most importantly won’t harm your little seedlings.
She said, “You just stick it right into the side and then you just pull it out and it scoops out perfectly.”

“I didn’t know that when I was a new gardener, so I’ll share it with you all.”
