I’m a gardening whizz – easy way to add light to your dark & shady garden costs just £2 on Shein

A GARDENING expert has shared his amazing tip on how to bring light into dark and shady spots without spending too much.
Garden designer Brit Joe Swift, 58, has revealed her savvy strategy for brightening up your outdoor area while costing just a few pounds.
On Friday’s episode of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the presenter let go of one of her closely guarded secrets.
While admiring the incredible creations at the nation’s green-lovers social event, he explained that it takes several elements to make a beautiful garden.
Joe said Brits should incorporate different materials into their designs.
He told viewers: “You can get inspired by plants not only Chelsea – the designers spent hours of work perfecting the finishing touches to enhance their garden to show the stoppers.
“When I design gardens, especially small gardens in the city, I often look for materials that help blur the space between inside and outside.”
The horticulturist then points to the back tiled garage wall before revealing the benefits they offer.
Joe continued: “These bricks work so well, you can imagine having them in your kitchen and bringing them out into the garden.
“They’re also great for covering garage walls or windbreaks, you can bang them right up.”
But he insists bricks can also bring much-needed light to dreary gardens around the country.
Joe explains that it’s “important” to choose the right color tile for your space, and advises people to choose a light color if their backyard is dark and shady.
The Chelsea Flower Show host adds that this deeper color scheme will help “blow the light around” the garden.
And this cheap and fun hack can cost you just £2.
You can buy adhesive tiles suitable for the outdoors from online retail giant Shein to implement Joe’s clever idea.
The Stone Pattern Floor Stickers can be the perfect decoration for your dim garden, while also adding depth.
While mesmerized by this year’s garden designs, Chelsea Flower Show fans were also smitten by Monty Don.
He was dubbed the “absolute fit” by viewers distracted by the presenter’s dapper.
