I’m a gym girl – I filmed men’s reactions to me lifting weights and they all do the same thing

A FITNESS fan captured a clip of herself lifting heavy weights at the gym and the reactions from the men around her were priceless.

Malia Capen (@liftwithmalia), a 21-year-old weightlifter, shared the workout video with her TikTok followers.

The lifting enthusiast hits the gym hard and bystanders have definitely noticed.

“POV: You’re a powerlifting girl in a male-dominated gym,” she said.

She set up the camera to record her lifting 90 pounds.

Malia performed several sets of deadlifts, much to the surprise of her classmates.

A man looked closely at their sets.

Another did the same, staring at her throughout her workout.

“I need to make a series out of this, the reactions are funny #girlswholift,” she said.

People took advantage of the comments to share their thoughts, with several applauding Malia.

“Goo girlll,” wrote one commenter.

“I love taking a seat in the weight department surrounded by men,” said another.

“We deserve to take up space,” agreed Malia.

“If they think it’s a PR (personal record) but you’re just warming up,” said a third.

“Girl you already know,” Malia joked.

Another slammed one man’s reaction, writing: “The side eyes send me.”
