A gym girl who lost 50 pounds has revealed the perfect dessert that tastes delicious without sacrificing your gains.
TikTokerin Val said her apple pie ice cream is just 280 calories and a whopping 31g of protein.
According to Val (@coffee.cab.leggings.life) this recipe is perfect for summer if you find the ingredients and the time.
“It’s a bit of work,” she said in the Video. “But I promise it’s worth it.”
First you should cut an apple into small pieces, spread them with cinnamon and bake them on a baking sheet at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
The dish’s base is a Fairlife caramel protein shake, which she says is missing from grocery store shelves.


After the shake is rated, the lucky buyer wants to pick up a packet of sugar-free custard and add a tablespoon to the mix.
“And then a tablespoon of my no-calorie sweetener,” she said while holding up a bag of Truvia.
Take the apples, the shake, the custard and the sweetener and mix everything together until you get a nice smooth paste.
“Freeze it and you’ve got an apple pie protein ice cream and it’s so damn good,” she said while holding up a large bowl of the stuff.
“And I finish it off with about a third of a cup of almond milk on a respin.”
Unfortunately, Fairlife has discontinued the salted caramel protein shakes, but the Tiktokerin said her recipe could be used with any comparable flavor.
“I like Quest salted caramel. It’s just behind Fairlife,” said one helpful commenter.
