I’m a hot mess mama – the crossing guards criticize me during school drop-off every day but I don’t want to hear it

AFTER constantly hearing criticism from her child’s school, one mother felt more than enough.

Chante Phan (@chantephan) is a working mom who often shares funny and easy-to-understand parenting content on TikTok.

In one clipshe revealed her thoughts on the drama dropout.

“Okay, if you are one of those perfect moms who send their kids to school flawlessly and have cute little snack boxes packed with everything healthy and nutritious, keep watching.” she started.

“This is for bad moms. I take my kids to school every morning and every morning the janitor tells me I did something wrong.”

She explained that when she “rushed” to get her young child out of the car, she was called out.

“They said, ‘Mom, you can’t stop here.’ And I thought, ‘My kid’s in kindergarten and he’s in the car seat, he can’t go out on his own.’”

The next criticism they made was that she used the “wrong door” to get her baby out.

“I said, ‘Guys, I’m a failure. I’m a hot-tempered, chaotic mom who does everything just to get her kids to school in the morning.

“’You can’t do anything for me, so there’s no point in letting you criticize all my transgressions in the background.’

She notes that the guards can still teach her daughter, as there is “hope for her” because she is so young – but not for Chante.

“There is no hope for me. So I don’t want to hear all the ways that I’m messing with the shuttle.”

For what she was looking for, it was positive reinforcement.

“I want them to cheer if I actually land successfully.”

Although Chante values safety first and says she has never had a safety problem in a car, she thinks the comments from the guards are exaggerated.

“I couldn’t keep moving. I can’t get my daughter out of the car seat without stopping.”

Although she said there is no hope for herself, she said there is still hope for her young daughter.
