A HOUSEKEEPER has revealed her homemade concoction that will leave your fridge smelling fresh.

The cleaning expert demonstrated to her followers how to make the four-ingredient mixture.

In her VideoTikTok user Mbali Nhlapho (@mbalinhlapho7) shared “how to keep your fridge and freezer smelling fresh.”

For her first step, Mbali poured a cup of warm water into a plastic spray bottle.

To make cleaning easier, she added half a cup of vinegar to the water.

Next, she mixed 1/2 cup of lemon juice into the DIY cleaning solution.

“It definitely has to be lemon to make your fridge smell amazing,” Mbali told her followers.

The next ingredient she added was a tablespoon of dish soap.

“As you know, in the home business, less is more,” she explained.

Mbali then revealed the secret ingredient she uses to freshen the smell of her fridge and freezer.

She said: “What will make your fridge smell wonderful and smell wonderful is a tablespoon of vanilla essence.”

“It smells amazing already, it smells so good, let’s make it a tablespoon and a half.”

Mbali then advised her followers to shake the mixture and store it for future use.

She recommended wiping down the inside of your refrigerator and freezer with it every now and then.

Mbali’s followers took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the hack.

“Your work is great and cost effective, thank you,” one viewer wrote.

Another impressed TikTok user commented: “I use vanilla in my microwave.”
