I’m a middle class stay at home mom who spends all the money – I spent $125 in a day and had lunch out at Chick-fil-A

A stay-at-home mom has revealed how much money she spends a day.
Hannah Lu (@hannahhlu) met her husband in high school and the couple have two adorable children together.
She shares her Colorado life on TikTok, where she currently has over 9,000 followers.
Hannah shared insights into the way they manage their spending in a recent video.
She sweated it out at the gym and took her kids to play before picking up food from Chick-fil-A and buying groceries.
“What we as a middle-class family spend on an income in a day,” Hannah said.

“I’m really just a stay-at-home mom who spends all her money.
“I really need to get my leisure center pass but they actually hooked me up today and let me in for free.
“It’ll be a few hundred dollars.
“Then daycare is $3 per hour per child. There you have $6.
“They were still hungry after a play date, so hello Chick-fil-A.
“I’ve tried to limit myself to a weekly coffee and a weekly lunch, and we usually eat out once a week.
“Chick-fil-A was $19.29
“I bought diapers and milk and ended up spending $98, which is pretty normal for our weekly groceries.
“Today we spent $124.94.”
She added in the caption of the post, “Because groceries are so damn expensive. #whatispendinaday #middleclass #sahmof2 #momtok.”
Hannah has previously shared similar vlog posts, covering days spent at the thrift store, family lunches and beauty treatments.
“Thank god my husband doesn’t see the credit card bill,” she joked.
The mother revealed that she uses a calculator when she goes shopping, but still often spends more than she originally planned.
She said they forget to eat before they go shopping, which can lead them to buy more groceries than necessary.
Inspired commenters said they took notes on the vlogs for ideas on how to spend their own time and money.

“Love these videos,” wrote one.
“I really love this series. I’m definitely taking notes and getting inspiration,” said another.
