I’m a mum-of-four & people call me lazy for my laundry technique but I don’t care, I think it’s genius

A mother-of-four has divided opinion online after sharing her ‘lazy’ washing technique.

Tiffany, who posts under the handle @tiffanyajlee, took to TikTok and shared a video in which she explains, “I’ve been called lazy for this but I think it’s awesome.

“As you can see, I have trash cans behind me.

“Each bin is a different person in my family and I don’t fold.

“I just take things right out of the dryer and throw them away
it in the bin it belongs to.

“Then I take it to her room, put them in more baskets that sit on cube shelves without folding them… and get on with my life!”

The post has since gone viral, garnering over 797,000 views — with very mixed reactions.

While some branded the mother’s idea “brilliant,” others weren’t quite so convinced.

“Love it! I hate wrinkles too. Here everyone in the room has to fold the load brought onto the couch no matter what the clothes are,” one wrote.

A second commended: “Omg I love this!”

A third gushed: “These have to be the most speed efficient things I’ve ever seen.”

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “Omg that sure is a great idea.”

Another remarked: “Genius!”

And another added: “I totally get it. Why bother to fold it up and hang it up when the kids can just toss the clean clothes on the floor or back in the dirty bin?”

Elsewhere, others argued that if the clothes were completely wrinkled, they wouldn’t make it.

“I never could, I love washing, sorting, folding, turning laundry so it wears out evenly,” one person pointed out.

Another agreed: “Laundry is one of my favorite things to do.

“I couldn’t stand to have wrinkles in my clothes.”
