Of all our everyday beauty products, perfume is by far the most personal – after all, nothing takes you back in time quite like your favorite scent.
But while we always thought our collection was going to get out of hand, this TikTok star has enough fragrances to rival a beauty counter — literally.
Earlier this year, TikToker @hebesy went viral when she gave her followers a peek at her HUNDREDS of perfume bottles.
On the pricier side, the avid beauty fan has four bottles of Byredo fragrances – which can cost up to £130 – as well as five Jo Malone, two Giorgio Armani and two Tom Ford fragrances.
In a video that has been viewed over 3.7 MILLION times, the woman revealed that out of her hundreds of scents, only three men can’t resist.
She wrote, “When you have a huge perfume collection but guys only appreciate these three.”
It starts with Yves Saint Laurent’s Black Opium.
A firm favorite of the beauty editors, the pricey £80 perfume has base notes of coffee and patchouli that balance out the lighter pear and madarin scent.
The beauty fanatic’s second perfume is a little less well-known and is made by New York fashion house Carolina Herrera.
Her perfume Good Girl has notes of berries and jasmine with a woody undertone.
Not to mention the stiletto-inspired design that will make a statement on any dressing table.
The third perfume featured in the video is Ariana Grande’s Sweet Like Candy fragrance – which you can pick up for just £22 in Superdrug.
Although the chic pink bottle is an exclamation point for Viktor & Rolf’s Flowerbomb, the actual scent is much sweeter – with notes of marshmallow, blackberry and vanilla.
In addition, viewers said they had a similar experience with Ariana Grande perfume.
One replied: “Every time I wear Arianas someone at work says ‘OMG you smell good!'”
Another gushed, “Ariana’s is so amazing!”
Meanwhile, a third wrote: “I swear it’s always the cuties [that get men’s attention].”
Speaking of perfumes, an expert recently claimed that she can tell what you look like by your top scent.
TikTok user and perfume connoisseur Ikhlas (@beauty_byib) shared her observations on social media – so which one is your best choice?
If you’re a fan of Versace’s Crystal Noir, Ikhlas thinks you know a thing or two about style — you’ll always be well dressed and come across as quite bossy.
In her eyes, those who love Cloud by Ariana Grande are less authoritative.
This sweet and breezy number is an absolute favorite among the younger generation – Ikhlas was convinced you are most likely a young teenager or someone in their early years.
“Teenage dream, forever young vibes,” she giggled in her video.
“It just smells a bit too childish for me, but the scent is good.”
What about Delina Royal Essence that can set you back over £200 a bottle?
If you can afford the hefty price tag of floral fragrance, you must be “effortlessly elegant and composed” at all times, thought the high-flyer.
A cheaper option is Pink Sugar, available from Amazon for less than £20.
But despite the enticing price, the buyer wasn’t too keen on the aroma — she felt that you’re stuck in the early 2000s and had to accept that it’s time to step away from the cult era.
Equally popular is YSL’s Black Opium – and this one, Ikhlas revealed, is the signature scent for any party lover.
“You love to go out every night, but you have to stop.”
Another Yves Saint Laurent perfume that made the list was the iconic Libre, the combination of floral and musky tones.
Just like the fragrance, they exude summery and free-spirited energy.
“You smell like a summer love in Europe,” said the beauty fan.
There are many strong scents that will turn heads – and noses. But nobody does it quite like Givenchy’s L’Interdit.
This luxury perfume, Ikhlas had noted, is always worn by those who want to make a mark and want everyone to know they’ve arrived.
“I’m sorry about this, I know I may have hurt some with that last one and the cloud,” she added in the caption.
So did she do it right? Let us know in the comments.
