TikTok user Julia (@julia.berit) responded to influencer Madeline White’s video of her discussing pinning clothes on set.

“I love this creator’s video of how they pin clothes to sets to make the models look better in the clothes than the clothes actually look,” Julia told viewers in her clip.

She continued, “Another trick they use specifically for plus sized girls is hip padding.

“So many brands have models wearing different types of shapewear on set, so trust me, it’s not you, it’s the clothes,” Julia explained in the clip’s caption.

“If you’ve seen these girls with the BBL hips but they don’t have them in real life, these guys are,” the TikToker said.

The curvy creator showed off the removable hip pads to her followers.

“These cost about $20 from Amazon and when I first started modeling these were literally required. They had to bring these,” the model explained.

Julia showed her followers the before and after results of the hip pads.

The influencer posed in the long, $84 slip dress for all in neon rose.

“This is me in the Skims Fits Everybody dress, I look like this. Let me show you with these guys,” she said.

Julia, who models the hip pads underneath the dress, told her followers, “These hips give the Kardashians a run for their money.”

The model continued, “There’s Sofia Vergara, there’s Shakira. However, those hips lie.

“If your dress or jeans don’t turn out the way you want them to, it’s because of pins and hip pads like these. It’s not you, it’s them,” she concluded.

TikTok users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the fashion hack.

“I’ve always wondered why all the plus girls have full hourglass bodies,” wrote one viewer.

Another follower said: “I’m stunned. I just thought they only use hourglass plus size models and it always annoyed me.”

“This video has done more for me than any therapy session,” commented a third person.
