A woman has revealed exactly how to preserve your food to ensure it lasts a long time.

Knowledgeable host who goes by the name of neat Carolineon TikTok and has more than 241k TikTok followers, revealed the unexpected truth.

Here are some things you should never put in the fridge: refrigerated garlic can make garlic grow twice as fast as garlic stored at room temperature, she says.

“Keeping onions in the fridge can make them moldy and mushy.

“Keeping tomatoes in the fridge can make them mushy and mushy.
“Instead, store them on the counter or on the windowsill.

“Honey can crystallize and solidify at colder temperatures, so room temperature is ideal.

“Putting your bread in the fridge will actually speed up the process of causing it to go stale.

“If you want to prolong its life, keep it in the freezer.”
